EN 1090-1 defines the conformity assessment requirements for CE marking of structural steel and aluminium components, while EN 1090-2 (steel) and EN 1090-3 (aluminium) define the technical requirements for fabrication and erection. CE marking under the Construction Products Regulation is mandatory for structural components placed on the market in the EU and Türkiye.
