In-service equipment gradually loses its safety margin through corrosion, fatigue and wear. Periodic inspection provides technical data for integrity management and maintenance planning in addition to the checks required by regulation.
Scope
- Visual inspection, thickness measurement and weld NDT checks on pressure vessels, boilers and air receivers
- Bottom and shell thickness mapping and corrosion assessment of storage tanks (API 653 / EN 14015)
- Structural weld inspection (MT/UT) of cranes, hoists and lifting equipment
- Corrosion, deformation and connection checks on steel structures, towers and industrial chimneys
- Remaining-life and corrosion-rate calculation, repair recommendations
Statutory periodic inspections under Turkish regulations are coordinated in cooperation with authorised Type A inspection bodies.
