Scope
- Responsible welding coordinator (RWC) service under EN ISO 14731 — contracted, in a structure accepted by the certification body
- Creating and maintaining the welding plan, weld map and WPS/WPQR library
- Selection of welding process, consumables and equipment; preheat/interpass temperature and heat treatment requirements
- Root-cause analysis of weld defects (cracks, porosity, distortion) and repair procedures
- Welder performance monitoring and training needs analysis
- Welding cost and productivity optimisation (arc time, consumable consumption)
- Technical representation in customer and certification audits
